"Tiger has acknowledged that he betrayed his family and that's a personal issue they've got to work out," Obama told Fox News on Wednesday.
"I hope they work it out and that he returns to golf," the President said, adding that Woods "is still going to be a terrific golfer."
The 34-year-old golfer and wife Elin have been spotted together recently and seem to be working through his issues. Tiger is returning to golf on April 8 at the prestigious Masters tournament in Augusta, GA.
